The Child Development Scholarship Program is one of saigonchildren’s four main programs. Students who have received saigonchildren scholarships upon completing high school and continuing their education at universities, colleges, or vocational schools will have the opportunity to access the Student Scholarship. Additionally, the student scholarship program includes a dedicated scholarship package for female students attending public universities (U-GO scholars). The Student Scholarship provides not only financial support but also opportunities to participate in skills training courses and community activities, aiming to help students develop comprehensively, build self-confidence, and prepare a solid foundation for their future careers after graduation.
The Student Scholarship program is designed with various packages tailored to different groups of students who meet specific criteria.
Clubs serve as a platform for students to cultivate teamwork skills, accountability, and a sense of cohesion.
You serve as club leaders. This is also one of the key channels for conveying information from the scholarship program to students, making connection and coordination more effective.
The Alumni Network is a community of former Student Scholarship recipients who continue to receive support through career opportunities and mentoring, while staying connected across generations to spread the spirit of paying it forward.
The annual camp is an opportunity for scholarship recipients from various provinces and cities to gather, interact, and connect. Through games, challenges, and group activities, students have the chance to hone their coordination and teamwork skills, while building a strong sense of solidarity and self-confidence for personal growth.
These are activities aimed at supporting vulnerable communities, where students proactively pitch ideas or participate as volunteers. From helping organize events like the Ngày Tết Quê Em program and the Mid-Autumn Festival to directly renovating a charity classroom, students not only bring value to the community but also hone their planning skills, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility.
The scholarship program establishes a continuous training framework for students from their first to fourth year, aiming to support them in developing comprehensive skills from the moment they enter university until graduation. Additionally, the program collaborates with partners to organize company visits and mock interviews, giving students valuable practical experience in a professional work environment.
As we walk alongside you, we understand that each of you comes from different circumstances and makes unique efforts on your academic path. Alongside regular scholarship support, saigonchildren always strives to ensure that whenever you face difficulties that might affect your studies, saigonchildren is right by your side to support you, helping you overcome challenges with peace of mind and step forward with confidence.
