Essential Information About the Scholarship Program

This page provides comprehensive information about the scholarship journey, from the application process and selection criteria to the guidelines after receiving the scholarship. We hope applicants can clearly understand each step, their rights, and their responsibilities, so they can prepare thoroughly and journey long-term with the program.

Selection Process

To ensure the scholarship is awarded to the right candidates based on set criteria, the selection process is conducted transparently, fairly, and rigorously through the following steps:

• Scholarship Announcement: Students check detailed information about the scholarship on their university’s official website.
• Application Submission: Students submit their applications online via the link provided by the university within the specified timeframe. The university reviews and ranks applications based on the project’s criteria, then sends the prioritized candidate list to saigonchildren.
• Interview: Selected candidates participate in an interview round with representatives from saigonchildren. This interview typically takes place in September every year.
• Result Notification: Scholarship results are sent to the university in October, and students receive official notification from their university.
• Program Induction: Successful candidates participate in a welcome gathering for new students, usually organized in October.
