1. What is the difference between regular scholarships and urgent support? The scholarships are your long-term companion, helping you focus on your studies with peace of mind. Meanwhile, urgent support is there to help you get through sudden crises (accidents, sudden illnesses, natural disasters…) that threaten to interrupt your studies.

2.If I apply for urgent support, will it affect my main scholarship next year? Not at all, you can rest assured! Urgent support is an independent fund to help you through sudden crises and will not affect your scholarship.

3. Who will have access to the information provided in the form? Your privacy is a top priority. Only the direct scholarship management team—the people you regularly stay in touch with—will access this information to review it and determine a support plan.

4. Why do I need to send the support letter and related receipts again after I have already filled out the support form and provided detailed information?

  • Form: This is a tool for the program to understand the difficulties you are facing. Based on the form, the program can quickly understand what you are going through, how you need help, and which support plan within the program’s capacity is most effective for you.
  • Support letter & Invoices/Receipts: These are important pieces of evidence for the program to work with donors. You know, the urgent support fund comes from the trusted contributions of individuals and organizations. Your signed letter and related invoices or receipts are the most authentic proof of actual needs, helping ensure absolute transparency in using the fund.

5. I understand that the resources of the urgent support fund are limited. What if my problem is too big and the fund cannot cover 100% of it? It is true that the fund’s resources are limited, so in some cases it can only offer partial support to help you get through a crisis. Besides, the program can talk with you to explore other resources instead of just financial assistance. For example, connecting you with a French-teaching volunteer to help improve your language skills and earn your graduation certificate.

6. After submitting the request via the form, how soon will I receive a response?Since it’s urgent; the program will do its best to respond as quickly as possible (usually within 7–10 working days after receiving complete information). In exceptional cases, you can send an email with the subject line: Urgent Support – Full Name – School Name to the program’s inbox for priority processing.
